KAPPA 1050M

The Infinity KAPPA 1050M is a 10-inch marine subwoofer designed for boats, pontoons, and powersports vehicles where the audio system stays outdoors year-round. Power handling is 300W RMS and 900W peak, with a 2-inch voice coil managing heat across long afternoons on the water.

The Plus One polypropylene cone gives the woofer more radiating surface than conventional 10-inch designs, which lifts sensitivity to 89 dB at 2.83V and extends usable output down to 20 Hz.

Switch-Selectable Impedance is the practical feature here. A single switch sets the woofer to a 2-ohm or 4-ohm load, so it matches whatever amplifier is already in the boat and can be reconfigured later if the system changes.

Everything about the build assumes exposure. The one-piece cast polymer basket resists warping and splitting after seasons of sun and salt, the magnet is sealed, and a rubber surround protects the cone edge better than foam. The woofer is rated IPX3 (IPX5 from the front), uses UV-resistant materials, and has cleared 300 hours of salt spray testing.

RGB perimeter illumination rings the woofer with seven built-in colors, and connecting an external lighting controller opens up nearly any color to match the rest of the boat's lighting.

Typical placements include center-console cockpits, pontoon furniture bases, wakeboard tower enclosures, and side-by-side cabins: setups where wind and engine noise strip out low frequencies. Each speaker is individually voiced to Infinity's sonic signature and put through Harman reliability testing that includes freezing, baking, vibration, UV exposure, and days of full-power operation.
