CSS8018 12-Pack

This set of twelve JBL CSS8018 8-inch ceiling speakers is built for restaurants, stores, and similar spaces that need stronger low-end and higher output than a compact 4-inch speaker can deliver, while still running on the same 70V or 100V distributed system. Each dual cone driver reaches a 97 dB sensitivity rating and extends down to 50 Hz, giving background music noticeably more body across a dining room or retail floor. Selectable 100V, 70V, and 25V transformer taps let every speaker in the set be tuned to the power it actually needs, so a large open floor and a quieter side room can share one amplifier without one area drowning out the other.

A 110 degree coverage pattern focuses sound more directly than a wide-dispersion design, which suits larger or higher-ceiling spaces where even, controlled coverage matters more than raw spread. The bare-wire transformer connection keeps wiring simple, and a 1.5 dB maximum insertion loss preserves signal clarity on the way to the driver. Ordering twelve as a matched set makes it straightforward to plan a full-room paging and music system without mixing speaker generations or finishes across a single install.
