Product Description
Power handling is 1000 W continuous pink noise with 4000 W peak capacity at the transducer, and 700 W continuous with 2800 W peak as a rated system over 100 hours, into an 8 ohm nominal load. Frequency range runs 35 Hz to 1 kHz at -10 dB, with response of 43 Hz to 1 kHz at plus or minus 3 dB. Sensitivity of 96 dB from 40 Hz to 300 Hz yields 126 dB continuous average output at 1 m and 132 dB peak, so a single cabinet carries a club floor or a mid-size worship room.
A large vent area keeps distortion low at high output rather than compressing when the room gets loud, and the FIR tuning set matches the phase profile of the full-range AE Series models, so crossing over to tops does not create a hole or a lobe at the transition.
The rectangular enclosure is 16 mm exterior-grade 11-ply birch plywood with heavy internal bracing and a black DuraFlex finish, protected by a 14-gauge steel grille lined with acoustically transparent foam. Sixteen M10 attachment points, four on the top, four on the bottom, and four on each side, support ground-stacked or flown arrays. The cabinet measures 16.0 x 14.5 x 19.0 in and weighs 36.0 lb.
Features
-
Low End From A Small Box
A 12 in cabinet measuring 16 x 14.5 x 19 in reaches 35 Hz and 126 dB continuous output, fitting under a stage lip where an 18 in box will not.
-
Power Handling With Margin
The 2263H woofer takes 1000 W continuous pink noise and 4000 W peaks, so long high-output nights do not push the driver toward its limit.
-
Clean At Full Output
A large vent area moves air without turbulence, keeping distortion low when the cabinet is working hard instead of adding port noise to the low end.
-
Crosses Over Cleanly
The FIR tuning set matches the phase profile of full-range AE Series models, so the handoff to tops stays coherent with no dip at the crossover.
-
Rig It Any Way You Need
Sixteen M10 threaded points across the top, bottom, and both sides support ground stacks, flown arrays, and cardioid configurations with optional eyebolts.
