The JBL Control 67P/T is a full-range pendant speaker for open-ceiling spaces where there is nothing overhead to mount to. This pair hangs from included steel cable systems with Gripple adjustable-height fasteners, so you set the exact drop height in warehouses, atriums, retail floors, and restaurants with exposed structure.

A 6.5 in polypropylene-coated paper woofer and 1 in textile soft-dome tweeter cover 58 Hz to 18 kHz, which gives you real low end for music playback instead of paging-only thinness. JBL's extra-large Radiation Boundary Integrator holds the 120 degree conical pattern consistent across frequencies, so a layout usually needs fewer speakers to cover the same floor area.

Wiring is flexible. Run each speaker at 8 ohms for 75 W continuous, or use the built-in multi-tap transformer on 70V lines at 60 W, 30 W, 15 W, or 7.5 W (100V: 60 W, 30 W, 15 W). Two paralleled euroblock connectors handle input and loop-thru, so a run of pendants daisy-chains without extra junction boxes.

Rated IP44 and tested past Mil Spec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV, the Control 67P/T holds up under covered patios and in unconditioned spaces. The zinc-plated steel grille lifts off and the enclosure takes paint, so the speakers can be finished to match the ceiling above them.

Each cabinet weighs 11.5 lb and measures 12.3 in across by 13.0 in tall. Two independent suspension systems ship per speaker, one as the main cable and one as a safety, each rated at 99 lb.
