CSMA240 2 x 40W Amplifier + (Qty 8) 8" Ceiling Speaker Package

This package pairs the JBL CSMA240 commercial mixer/amplifier with eight JBL CSS8008 8" ceiling speakers, giving a restaurant, bar, or cafe fuller sound per speaker than a smaller 4" driver at the same low tap settings. The CSMA240 runs eight mixer-channel inputs into two output channels at up to 40W, drives 4 ohm or 8 ohm loads directly, and steps up to 70V or 100V distributed lines through its built-in Hi-Z switch, so no separate line transformer is needed to wire eight speakers together.

Each CSS8008 carries a 200mm dual-cone driver at 96 dB sensitivity with a 120-degree coverage pattern, aimed at rooms that want more low-end presence than the 4" CSS8004 while still keeping speaker taps low. Every speaker sets independently at 5W, 2.5W, or 1.3W, which matters here because the CSMA240 is rated for 40W total, about 32W per channel: splitting eight speakers across the two channels and tapping each one down keeps the system well within that limit. Bare-wire connections and a bolt-on backcan mount make the install straightforward, and the amplifier's sleep mode and voice-activated ducking handle the rest once the system is live.
