Product Description
The cabinet buries in the ground with only the audio port visible above the surface. Its chamber sits directly below that port rather than off to one side, which keeps the buried volume out of the path of shovels, edgers and aeration equipment. Grab handles make the drop-in easier and anchor tabs secure the cabinet to blocks or ground anchors.
A built-in steep, multiple-slope lowpass filter keeps the subwoofer in its own range without outboard processing. A premium 200W subwoofer-band transformer serves 70V and 100V distributed lines with taps at 200W, 100W and 50W, and the driver connects directly for low-impedance operation. Power handling is 450W continuous pink noise with 1,800W peak and 118 dB peak SPL.
The 305 mm polypropylene driver rides on a 50 mm voice coil, and the LDPE polyethylene enclosure is colored throughout with a 6 mm minimum wall thickness. It suits hotels, shopping complexes, restaurants, theme parks and corporate campuses. Net weight is 35.7 lb.
Features
-
Bass Outdoors Actually Works
True subwoofer extension to 30 Hz fills in what full-range landscape speakers cannot produce across open lawn with no surfaces to reinforce low frequencies.
-
Invisible Once Installed
The cabinet buries underground with only the audio port at grade, so a patio or garden keeps its look with no visible speaker box.
-
Built To Survive Groundskeeping
The chamber sits directly below the port instead of off to one side, keeping the buried volume clear of shovels, edgers and aeration equipment.
-
One Less Box In The Rack
A steep, multiple-slope lowpass filter is built into the subwoofer, so the low-frequency handoff happens without an outboard processor.
-
Wires Into Distributed Systems
A premium 200W subwoofer-band transformer serves 70V and 100V lines at three tap settings, or connect directly for low-impedance operation.
