Pair JBL SLP12/T-BK Sleek Low-Profile On Wall Mount 3" 70v Commercial Speakers

The JBL SLP12/T is a low-profile on-wall loudspeaker in black, sold here as a pair. A 75 mm (3-inch) full-range driver covers 74 Hz to 20 kHz with 120 by 120 degree coverage, which spreads sound widely in the small-to-mid rooms these speakers usually serve.

The cabinet is under 4 inches deep, which meets ADA requirements for wall-mounted objects in commercial spaces. Coverage is tilted 15 degrees downward by design, so the speaker mounts flush against the wall and still aims at people rather than the far wall. That combination is why these end up in restaurants, hotels, resorts and retail stores where the look matters as much as the sound.

Installation uses an included slide-in wall bracket: mount the wall half, run your wire, and slide the speaker on. An included rain cover protects the terminal compartment in protected outdoor locations such as covered patios.

A 15W multi-tap transformer serves 70V and 100V systems with taps at 15W, 7.5W, 3.8W and 1.9W, and the speaker switches to direct 8-ohm operation. Power handling is 40W continuous pink noise with 160W peak and 106 dB peak SPL. Terminals are 4-pin Euroblock accepting 24 to 14 AWG. The polycarbonate and ABS enclosure is UL94V-0 rated and weighs 4.2 lb per speaker.
