The JBL SLP14/T is a two-way low-profile on-wall loudspeaker in white, sold here as a pair. A coaxial 4-inch woofer and dome tweeter cover 70 Hz to 20 kHz with 140 by 120 degree dispersion, giving it more low-end reach and more high-frequency detail than a single full-range driver can manage.

That matters in rooms where the audio is doing more than background paging. Restaurants running music through service, hotel lobbies, resort common areas and retail floors with a real playlist get music that holds together at conversational levels and above.

The cabinet is under 4 inches deep, meeting ADA requirements for wall-mounted objects, and coverage is tilted 15 degrees down so the speaker mounts flush and still aims at listeners. An included slide-in wall bracket handles installation: mount and wire the wall half, then slide the speaker into place. An included rain cover protects the terminal compartment in protected outdoor locations.

A 25W multi-tap transformer serves 70V and 100V lines with taps at 25W, 12.5W, 6.3W and 3.2W, plus direct 8-ohm operation. Power handling is 50W continuous pink noise with 200W peak and 108 dB peak SPL. Terminals are 4-pin Euroblock for 24 to 14 AWG wire. The polycarbonate and ABS enclosure is UL94V-0 rated, paintable, and weighs 6.2 lb per speaker.
