JBL PRX915 Professional 15" 1000w RMS Active Powered 2-Way DJ PA Speaker w/ DSP

The JBL PRX915 is a powered two-way 15" PA loudspeaker from the PRX900 Series, built for working systems that get set up, torn down, and moved every week. A next-generation driver package runs on an efficient Class D amplifier rated 2,000 watts peak and 1,000 watts RMS, reaching 133 dB max SPL with a 48 Hz - 19 kHz range and 90 x 50 degrees coverage.

An updated JBL image control waveguide widens and evens out dispersion, so more of the audience hears the same tone instead of a bright spot down the center. An FEA flared port design cuts air noise and distortion at high output. Low-noise, low-distortion gain staging keeps the signal path clean from input to driver.

The DSP package is the practical advantage here. A color LCD on the rear panel gives direct access to 12-band parametric EQ for tuning a room, dbx DriveRack processing with live and fixed automatic feedback suppression, a soft system limiter with Soundcraft Overeasy, plus 180 ms of speaker delay for time-aligning a distributed system. G-Sensor Automatic Position Detect recognizes whether the cabinet is standing as a main or tipped on its side as a floor monitor and re-tunes accordingly.

The JBL Pro Connect app controls up to 10 speakers over BLE, integrates with JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700 systems, and adds grouping and snapshots. Operation is fanless and latency stays under 1 ms.

The polypropylene and talcum composite cabinet uses computer-modeled internal ribbing for rigidity, with two integrated handles on the top and side and a dual 36 mm pole socket plus six M10 suspension points at 53.1 lb. It suits main PA duty for DJs, bands, rental houses, and venues that need deep low end before adding a subwoofer, and carries a seven-year warranty.
