Product Description

The JBL SRX910LA is a two-way active line array element for mid to large-format work: rental inventories, touring artists, DJ systems, and fixed installations that need scale without a separate amplifier world. Dual 10-inch neodymium woofers and a 1.5-inch exit compression driver with a 3-inch voice coil cover a 53 Hz to 19 kHz array preset range with 105 degrees of nominal horizontal coverage.

Amplification and DSP are built in, which is the practical difference between this and a passive rig. A two-channel Class D amplifier rated 600 watts continuous and 880 watts peak runs on a universal power supply, so a system performs identically in any country. LevelMax limiting uses excursion-control algorithms to protect the transducers when an operator pushes past the design limit, and the rear-panel LCD gives full access to control features without a laptop.

Networking is handled through dual Ethernet ports with Neutrik etherCON connectors and HARMAN HControl, so a full hang reports back to one control position. Audio input is balanced line level on two Neutrik XLR connectors wired in and out, with +6 dBu nominal sensitivity, 21 dBu maximum input, and 100 kilohm impedance. DSP runs at 48 kHz and 24 bits.

The computer-optimized composite enclosure stays compact and light for the output it produces, and a three-point rigging system with array frames, base plates, and vertical transporters lets a system scale up over time rather than being replaced. JBL Performance software controls the system from Windows, macOS, and iPadOS.

The SRX910LA fits production companies that need a truck-pack friendly format with high density per cabinet, and installations where a permanent hang has to cover a wide, deep room.

Features

    • High Density Per Cabinet

Dual 10-inch neodymium woofers and a 3-inch voice coil compression driver put more output in each box, cutting the cabinet count on a hang.

    • No Amp Rack Required

Passively cooled Class D amplification rated 600 watts continuous runs on a universal supply, so the system behaves the same on any mains voltage.

    • One Control Position

Dual Neutrik etherCON ports with HARMAN HControl network the whole array back to a single laptop or tablet running JBL Performance software.

    • Protection Under Pressure

LevelMax limiting applies sophisticated excursion-control algorithms that guard the transducers when an operator pushes the system past the limit it was designed around.

    • Set It From The Back Panel

A rear-panel LCD gives complete access to control features on site, so a tech can change presets without opening a laptop on a wet stage.
