The JVC KW-V960BW is a 6.8-inch double-DIN DVD receiver built around wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connecting to a compatible phone over built-in Wi-Fi instead of requiring a USB cable every time you get behind the wheel.

A clear resistive touch panel with high transparency and high luminance keeps the display bright and readable, and a dynamic GUI shows time, photos, album art, and vehicle data from an optional iDatalink Maestro connection on the home screen. High-resolution audio playback supports files up to 192kHz/24-bit, roughly 6.5 times the data of a standard CD, and LDAC Bluetooth streaming sends about three times the data of standard Bluetooth audio, preserving more of that detail over a wireless connection.

K2 Technology rebuilds frequency range lost to compressed audio, and Time Alignment adjusts sound timing to your car's cabin. The receiver accepts up to three camera inputs, rear, front, and a third camera, for a fuller view around the vehicle, and dual USB ports with 1.5A charging keep two phones powered at once. Three RCA pre-outs at 5.0V reduce noise when paired with an external amplifier, and SiriusXM readiness unlocks over 100 channels of music, sports, and entertainment with an optional tuner. Built-in Wi-Fi also supports wireless Android phone mirroring, without needing a cable connected at all.
