Comp 15" 1000 Watt SVC 4-Ohm Car Audio Subwoofers, Pair

This matched pair of Kicker Comp 43C154 15-inch subwoofers gives a build two identically specced drivers for a dual-sub enclosure that loads evenly and hits hard. Each subwoofer uses a thick polypropylene woofer cone with signature white stitching on a UV-treated surround, 360-degree back bracing, a bumped back plate, and a large magnet structure paired with a high-temperature voice coil, all built to move serious air without breaking up. Individually, each sub takes 500 watts peak and 250 watts RMS, with a recommended power range of 200 to 300 watts RMS, so the pair totals 1000 watts peak together, and pairing them with a DX-Series amplifier balances value and output well. The single 4-ohm voice coil per sub keeps amplifier wiring simple, and a 90.3dB sensitivity with a 25 to 500 Hz frequency response gives the pair a deep, room-filling low end. A sealed enclosure between 2.25 and 5.0 cubic feet per sub, or a vented enclosure between 3.0 and 4.0 cubic feet per sub, gets the most out of the pair, with a 7-7/16 inch mounting depth and 13-11/16 inch cutout to plan a box build around.
