CompVR 15" 2000 Watt Dual 2-Ohm Car Audio Subwoofers, Pair

This matched pair of Kicker CompVR 43CVR152 15-inch subwoofers gives a build two identically specced dual 2-ohm voice coil drivers, opening up more amplifier wiring options than a single-coil design while keeping both subs loading the enclosure evenly. Each subwoofer pairs an injection-molded SoloKon cone with a ribbed Santoprene surround, and Kicker's UniPlate heat management system works with perimeter venting to pull heat away from the motor so the subs keep performing during long, loud sessions instead of compressing under heat. A stamped steel basket controls vibration while the dual high-temperature voice coils and spring-loaded push terminals keep the connection solid at high output. Individually, each sub handles 1000 watts peak and 500 watts RMS, so the pair totals 2000 watts peak together, and a 500 watt RMS recommended power level per sub works well with a properly matched amplifier. An 89.2dB sensitivity and 25 to 500 Hz frequency response deliver clear, loud bass, and either a sealed enclosure between 1.8 and 5.2 cubic feet per sub or a vented enclosure between 3 and 5 cubic feet per sub gets the most out of the pair. Weather-resistant construction also makes these subs a fit for marine builds, not just cars.
