CompVR 15" 2000 Watt Dual 4-Ohm Car Audio Subwoofers, Pair

This matched pair of Kicker CompVR 43CVR154 15-inch subwoofers gives a build two identically specced dual 4-ohm voice coil drivers, so both subs load an enclosure evenly while leaving room to wire for a range of amplifier impedances. Each subwoofer uses an injection-molded cone tuned for low distortion, a ribbed Santoprene surround with double-stitched construction, and a progressive-roll polycotton spider that keeps cone movement linear and accurate at any volume. A solid pole piece combined with perimeter venting handles heat dissipation without breakdown, while 360-degree back bracing and a stamped steel basket keep the whole assembly rigid under hard bass hits. Individually, each sub handles 1000 watts peak and 500 watts RMS, so the pair totals 2000 watts peak together, with a 500 watt RMS recommended level per sub for a properly matched amplifier. An 89.2dB sensitivity and 25 to 500 Hz frequency response deliver a deep, accurate low end, and either a sealed enclosure between 1.8 and 5.2 cubic feet per sub or a vented enclosure between 3 and 5 cubic feet per sub gets the most from the pair. Weather-resistant construction also makes these subs suitable for marine installs in addition to standard car builds.
