This is a matched pair of Kicker L7S122 12-inch Solo-Baric subwoofers, sold together so a build starts with two subs from the same production run instead of pairing mismatched units later. The Solo-Baric revolves around Kicker's injection-molded SoloKon cone, with 360-degree constant-contact back bracing that adheres to every contour of the square cone, adding targeted strength and accurate response for clean, high-output bass. A ribbed Santoprene surround with signature blue stitching, a large ceramic magnet, and a UniPlate backplate and pole piece with perimeter venting keep the motor structure cool under sustained power. Each sub carries a dual 2-ohm voice coil and handles 750W RMS with 1500W peak, for a combined 1500W RMS and 3000W peak across the pair, and a cast-aluminum basket with satin-nickel spring-loaded terminals finishes the build. These subs perform best in a sealed enclosure between 0.88 and 2.0 cubic feet per sub or a vented box starting around 1.75 cubic feet per sub, leaving the enclosure and amplifier as the only additions needed. The square cutout also packs noticeably more cone area into the mounting space than a round 12-inch subwoofer.
