This is a matched pair of Kicker L7S154 15-inch Solo-Baric subwoofers, sold together so a build starts with two subs from the same production run instead of pairing mismatched units later. A heavy-duty motor structure with a large-diameter spider reduces flex for a longer service life and more accurate output, while high-temp voice coil winding lets the motor make full use of every watt sent to it. The square SoloKon cone, patented corner ribs, and 360-degree back bracing add rigidity and resist distortion at high volume, and a ribbed Santoprene surround with signature blue stitching, a large ceramic magnet, and a UniPlate backplate with perimeter venting round out the build. Each sub carries a dual 4-ohm voice coil and handles 1000W RMS with 2000W peak, for a combined 2000W RMS and 4000W peak across the pair, making this the biggest driver in the Solo-Baric lineup here. A cast-aluminum basket with satin-nickel spring-loaded terminals finishes the construction. These subs perform best in a sealed enclosure between 1.5 and 6.0 cubic feet per sub or a vented box starting around 3.0 cubic feet per sub, and the 4-ohm coil configuration makes it easy to wire the pair to a wider range of amplifiers.
