This listing includes two pairs of KICKER CSS684 6x8-inch component speakers, giving you separate woofers and tweeters for both the front and rear speaker locations. Each set pairs an EVC woofer with a titanium-dome tweeter and a two-way crossover, so the highs and lows come from dedicated drivers instead of a single cone covering the whole range. A three-position tweeter switch (0dB/+3dB/+6dB) lets you dial the highs to taste, and phase plugs built into the woofer cone help cut distortion at higher volumes. Flush, angled, and surface-mount tweeter pods are all included, so the tweeter fits wherever there is room in the factory dash or door, and steel mesh grilles protect the woofers after install. Rated for 225W peak and 75W RMS per speaker, these components run comfortably off a stock head unit or an amplifier, with a 40Hz-21kHz range that fills in what a factory 6x8 speaker usually misses.
