The 40PS42 is a pair of 4-inch coaxial speakers built for powersports use, rated 60W peak and 30W RMS each at 2 ohms. They drop into Honda Gold Wing fairings and rear-seat cutouts with 4 in or 5 in factory locations, and they also fit UTV, ATV, marine, and outdoor enclosures.

The coaxials run a rare-earth neodymium magnet structure, which produces maximum output at very low weight. On a bike that keeps handling predictable, and the light moving system gives sharp transient response and clear vocal articulation instead of the muddy midrange common to small factory speakers.

Every PS-Series model carries a 20mm neo-titanium-dome tweeter bridge-mounted over the woofer to counter extreme vibration, plus a tweeter sensitivity jumper so you can dial the high end back on a bright fairing or push it forward on a windy open bike. High efficiency is the point of the design: powersports charging systems are small, so these produce volume without pulling current a bike cannot spare.

Weather-proof materials throughout handle rain, sun, and road spray. The pair also fills Kicker 4-inch empty bullet enclosures (KMMTES, sold separately), which fasten to motorcycle handlebars, bimini tops, and golf-cart roof supports when factory locations are not an option.
