The Kicker 43DSC404 is a pair of 4-inch two-way coaxial speakers built as a drop-in upgrade for factory door, dash, and rear-deck openings. The thin-profile design and 1-13/16-inch mounting depth let them fit door cavities where window mechanisms and regulators limit clearance, and the 3-3/4-inch cutout matches common factory holes. Each speaker uses a stiff polypropylene cone with a ribbed, UV-treated acoustic foam surround on a stamped steel basket, plus EVC (Extended Voice Coil) technology for accurate cone motion at low and moderate power. The zero-protrusion 1/2-inch polyethylene-naphthalate dome tweeter sits flush, so factory grilles reinstall without interference. Power handling is 120W peak and 60W RMS per pair, or 60W peak and 30W RMS each, with a recommended 10 to 30W RMS per channel. Response runs 60 Hz to 20 kHz at 88 dB sensitivity, which adds midrange body and clean treble over worn factory speakers. Grilles are included for open-panel and custom installs.
