The Kicker 43VC124 is a Comp 12-inch subwoofer pre-mounted in a vented, single 4-ohm enclosure built with a custom-tuned port to squeeze extra bass output out of a compact footprint. Kicker's 2016 Comp design uses a thick polypropylene woofer cone with a high-density, UV-treated rubber surround, and 360-degree back bracing keeps the cone rigid so output stays clean rather than distorted when the box is pushed. A high-temperature voice coil supports sustained power handling, and the subwoofer delivers a 27 to 500 Hz frequency response at 90 dB sensitivity.

The enclosure is built from high-density MDF, finished in a stylish black carpet, and vented through a single round port tuned to work with the loaded subwoofer. It handles 300 watts peak and 150 watts RMS, with Kicker recommending 150 watts of amplifier power for best results. Because the subwoofer arrives already mounted and ported, installation is a matter of running power and signal wires rather than building or tuning a box from scratch.
