50CVX102 COMPVX 10" Subwoofer with Vented Sub Box Enclosure

This combo pairs the Kicker 50CVX102 CompVX 10-inch subwoofer, wired dual 2-ohm voice coil, with a Rockville 1.0 cubic foot vented enclosure tuned to 37 Hz. The CompVX uses a cast aluminum basket with motor-cooling perimeter venting, a poly-cotton semi-progressive-roll spider for stability at full excursion, and a ribbed Santoprene surround to protect the cone, all built to handle up to 1200 watts peak and 600 watts RMS.

The included Rockville RSV10 enclosure is built in the USA from 3/4-inch Grade A MDF, glued, stapled, and sealed with silicone at every seam so the carpet stays put and the box resists flexing under pressure. Its port is sized at 2 by 18.5 by 10.5 inches to reach the 37 Hz tuning, giving the CompVX room to move air for deeper, louder bass than a sealed box of similar size. A full installation kit finishes the job with 10 drywall wood screws selected to avoid chipping the enclosure, 12 feet of 14-gauge speaker wire, and two spade terminals.
