The Kicker KMTC9 HLCD tower speaker system brings the same horn-loaded design as its larger siblings into a more compact 9-inch footprint, built for clean sound up close or at a distance without harsh horn glare. Each speaker uses a high-frequency horn with a titanium-dome compression driver alongside a stitched polypropylene cone with a Santoprene surround, driven by a 4-ohm voice coil rated for 600 watts peak and 300 watts RMS. A UV-resistant polymer basket and 316L stainless mounting hardware meet ASTM standards for UV and salt/fog resistance, so the white finish holds up under continuous sun and spray.

Mounting is toolless: a 359-degree swivel with a locking cam and toggle system lets the pair be aimed anywhere without tools, and a through-clamp wiring system with a mating socket keeps cable runs clean. A stainless steel and ABS clamp fits tubing from 1.5 to 3.25 inches, covering most towers and roll bars, and a single-bolt removal system speeds up maintenance or storage. Seven-color LED grilles are included, adding lighting to the deck after dark in a smaller package than the 11-inch model.
