L7S152 15" Solo-Baric Subwoofer

The Kicker L7S152 is a 15-inch Solo-Baric subwoofer built around a heavy-duty motor structure with a large-diameter spider for less flex and longer-term accuracy, paired with high-temp voice coil winding that keeps a Comp motor stable under sustained power. Dual 2-ohm voice coils and a 2000W peak / 1000W RMS rating give an amplifier serious headroom, while the injection-molded polypropylene cone and patented corner ribs keep distortion in check even when pushed hard. The 360-degree SoloKon back bracing and ribbed Santoprene surround add mechanical strength without sacrificing excursion, and the perimeter-vented UniPlate back plate manages heat during extended play. A cast aluminum basket and large ceramic magnet round out a motor built to handle real power over years of use, not just on a spec sheet. The L7S152 works best in a sealed enclosure between 1.5 and 6.0 cubic feet or a vented box between 3.0 and 6.0 cubic feet, giving installers flexibility depending on the vehicle and desired sound.
