The Kicker 45KM104 is a 10-inch marine subwoofer built to handle deep bass in a sealed or ported enclosure without breaking down from the heat, moisture, and vibration that come with life on a boat. A 4-ohm single voice coil, injection-molded polypropylene cone, and co-molded Santoprene surround combine for 175W RMS and 350W peak power handling, while a UniPlate back plate and pole piece keep the motor structure compact enough to fit tight enclosures. The polymer basket resists corrosion, and the cone and surround meet ASTM standards for UV and salt-fog exposure, so sun and spray don't wear it down the way they would an automotive subwoofer.
