The KICKER KM 12-inch marine subwoofer adds real low bass to a boat system without giving up weather resistance. It performs in either a sealed or ported enclosure, with recommended sealed volume of 1.25 - 3.5 cu ft, so it works in under-helm boxes, console builds, and custom bow enclosures.

Every part of this sub is made for open water. The injection-molded polypropylene cone and co-molded Santoprene surround handle sun and moisture, the polymer basket resists corrosion, and a protective terminal cap keeps spray off the connections. The sub meets or exceeds ASTM standards for UV and salt/fog exposure, so it holds up in fresh and salt water alike.

Power handling is 175 W RMS and 350 W peak through a single 4-ohm voice coil, a straightforward match for a compact marine amplifier. A UniPlate back plate and pole piece, thick tinsel leads, and a large ceramic magnet keep output steady when you push the volume for hours at anchor.

Frequency response runs 30 Hz to 500 Hz. Mounting depth is 5.5 in with a 11 in cutout, and the rear gasket plus stainless mounting hardware needed for a sealed, rattle-free install come in the box.
