Product Description

The 46CK8 is a complete 8 gauge wiring kit for car audio systems up to 1000 W. It carries power, ground, turn-on, signal, and speaker connections in one package, all built from 100 percent oxygen-free copper for uninterrupted current flow from battery to amplifier.

The run starts with 17 feet of CK-Series 8 gauge matte blue multi-strand power wire and 2 feet of matte smoked 8 gauge ground wire. A compact brass AFS fuse holder with a 60 amp fuse protects the circuit, and 8 gauge spade terminals with red and black boots finish the amplifier end cleanly. Seventeen feet of 16 gauge clear remote turn-on wire triggers the amp from the head unit.

On the signal side, a 17-foot CK-Series braided three-conductor RCA cable with precision machined, gold-plated ends uses twisted-pair construction to reject noise picked up next to power cable. Forty feet of 16 gauge two-color OFC speaker wire covers the output side, with polarity marked so you are not guessing at the door panel.

Assorted connectors, terminals, and wire ties are included for routing and termination. At 5 lb of copper and hardware, this kit is the practical choice for a mid-power four-channel or mono amplifier where 4 gauge is more than the system needs but thin cable would choke it.
