4x6" Front CSC Speaker Replacement Kit for 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ

This kit replaces the front speakers in a 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ with a pair of Kicker 46CSC464 4x6 inch 2-way coaxial speakers and a Metra harness connector that plugs into the factory wiring. There is no splicing or stripping wires: the harness matches the factory 2-pin flat connector used across Jeep, Dodge, and Cherokee models of the era, so the install stays a direct swap. The CSC464 pairs a polypropylene woofer cone with a stamped-steel frame and EVC extended voice coil technology for tighter, cleaner bass than the factory speakers ever produced. A neodymium tweeter with a PEI dome sits nearly flush with the cone, clearing the factory grille while adding real detail to the high end. Since the YJ is frequently driven with the top and doors off, the UV-treated poly-foam surround holds up to sun and heat exposure instead of drying out and cracking. Each speaker handles 150W peak and 50W continuous power, for a combined 300W peak rating across the pair, which is enough to hear a clear step up from the factory setup at normal listening volumes without adding an amplifier.
