The 46CSC654 is a pair of CS-Series 6-1/2 inch two-way coaxial speakers, the most common replacement size in car audio and the one where a factory upgrade pays off fastest. These replace stock door speakers directly and bring a heavy-duty motor and magnet structure that a factory driver cannot match.

A stamped-steel frame supports a rigid polypropylene cone with EVC Extended Voice Coil technology, keeping the coil aligned through its full travel for clean output at higher volume. Response reaches down to 40 Hz, so mid-bass has weight even before you add a subwoofer, and the ribbed, UV-treated poly-foam surround handles the heat and moisture inside a door panel.

The zero-protrusion PEI dome tweeter uses a neodymium magnet for extra output in the top end and mounts flat, so factory grilles reseat without touching the dome. Mounting hole diameter is 4-13/16 inches with 1-11/16 inch bottom mount depth, which clears most factory door cavities and window mechanisms.

Each speaker handles 100 W RMS and 300 W peak with 90 dB sensitivity. They sound better than stock on head unit power alone, and they scale well with a four-channel amplifier if you add one later. Steel mesh grilles are included for rear decks and kick panels where the cone is exposed.
