The CXA1200.1 is a mono Class D subwoofer amplifier rated at 1,200 W RMS into one bass channel. It makes 600 W into 4 ohms, 1,200 W into 2 ohms, and stays stable at 1 ohm, which opens up wiring options that most amplifiers in this class close off.

Tuning is handled on the amplifier. A variable 12 dB low-pass crossover sweeps from 50 Hz to 200 Hz, a 24 dB subsonic filter at 25 Hz keeps damaging infrasonic content away from the woofer, and KickEQ variable bass boost adds up to 6 dB at 40 Hz. The optional CXARC remote lets you adjust that boost from the dash while driving instead of reaching into the trunk.

Input flexibility is where CX-Series amps earn their place in factory-radio systems. They accept up to 40 volts of speaker-level input, so a line-out converter is not required when tapping a stock head unit, and FIT+ Fail-safe Integration Technology-PLUS keeps the signal clean. Full-range RCA pass-through outputs let you add another amplifier without splitting signal externally.
