The CXA1800.1 is the highest-output mono amplifier in the CX-Series, rated at 1,800 W RMS into 2 ohms and 900 W into 4 ohms. It is built for systems running multiple subwoofers or a single high-power driver that needs more than a mid-tier amplifier can supply.

Class D output and highly efficient heat sinks keep the amplifier cool in an enclosed trunk, and FIT+ Fail-safe Integration Technology-PLUS keeps the signal path dependable when integrating with a factory radio. Speaker-level inputs accept up to 40 volts, so a stock head unit connects directly without a line-out converter, which removes one more device from the signal chain.

Tuning is on board. A variable 12 dB low-pass crossover from 50 Hz to 200 Hz sets the handoff to your door speakers, a 24 dB subsonic filter at 25 Hz protects the woofers from content they cannot reproduce, and KickEQ variable bass boost adds up to 6 dB at 40 Hz. The optional CXARC remote brings that boost control to the dash.

Full-range RCA outputs pass signal to a second amplifier, so this can anchor a multi-amp system. A three-second turn-on and turn-off delay keeps pops out of the speakers. The chassis is 14-3/8 inches long and weighs 9.55 lb, with vertical mounting hardware included.
