The CXA800.1 is a mono Class D subwoofer amplifier rated at 800 W RMS into 1 ohm, 600 W into 2 ohms, and 300 W into 4 ohms. It sits in the middle of the CX mono line, with enough output for a pair of 10-inch subwoofers or a single high-power 12, in a chassis only 8-1/8 inches long.

One-ohm stability gives you wiring freedom. Dual voice coil subwoofers can be wired to their lowest load to take the amplifier's full 800 W, instead of being limited to a 2-ohm minimum. Class D output and efficient heat sinks keep operating temperatures in range in an enclosed trunk.

Onboard tuning covers what matters: a variable 12 dB low-pass crossover from 50 Hz to 200 Hz, a 24 dB subsonic filter at 25 Hz, and KickEQ variable bass boost of up to 6 dB at 40 Hz, adjustable from the dash with the optional CXARC remote. Full-range RCA pass-through outputs feed a second amplifier for door speakers.

Speaker-level inputs accept up to 40 volts, so a factory head unit connects directly with no line-out converter, and FIT+ Fail-safe Integration Technology-PLUS keeps that connection clean. A three-second turn-on and turn-off delay stops speaker thumps, and both standard and vertical mounting hardware ship in the box. Weight is 5.3 lb.
