The Kicker 46KMFC8W pairs 8" marine coaxial speakers with flat-surface-mount cans, sold as a set of two. The pods use the same materials and performance as the KMTC tower series, redesigned for installs where there is no tower bar to clamp to: a flat deck surface, a roll cage plate, a bulkhead, or a hardtop. Included inserts set the aim. Use one or two of them and the pod installs in any of four configurations, flat or angled, pitched up or down 5 or 10 degrees, so the sound points at the people instead of past them. Each speaker runs a UV-treated polypropylene woofer with a Santoprene surround, a 1 in (2.5 cm) titanium tweeter, and a UV-resistant polymer basket, on a 4-ohm voice coil handling 150 W RMS and 300 W peak.
