The Kicker 46PK4 is a complete 4 AWG wiring kit for a single amplifier install, with full-spec Hyper-Flex power, ground, and turn-on cable plus the hardware and fusing the job actually requires. Four gauge is the size for a mid-to-high power single amplifier, the range where 8 AWG starts limiting what the amp can pull on demand. Every conductor is 100 percent oxygen-free copper, not copper-clad aluminum, which is the difference between an amplifier receiving the current it is rated for and an amplifier browning out on bass peaks. Hyper-Flex jacketing stays pliable in cold weather, so the power cable bends around a firewall grommet and along a rocker channel without fighting you. The kit includes 17 feet of 4 AWG blue power cable, 2 feet of 4 AWG gray ground cable, and 17 feet of 16 AWG clear remote turn-on wire, which covers a front-to-rear run in most vehicles. An in-line AFS fuse holder and a 100 amp AFS fuse protect the run at the battery, and gold-plated terminals keep the connections low-resistance over time.
