The Kicker 46PKD4 wires two amplifiers off one run. Four gauge is the practical size for a typical two-amp system, a four-channel plus a monoblock, where 1/0 is more cable than the build calls for. A single 17-foot 4 AWG Hyper-Flex power cable carries current from the battery to a DB4 brass distribution block, which splits it into two 8 AWG feeds for the amplifiers. That layout is what keeps a two-amp system clean: one hole through the firewall, one fuse at the battery, and one cable down the rocker instead of two competing for the same channel. Every conductor is 100 percent oxygen-free copper, so current reaches both amplifiers without the voltage sag copper-clad aluminum introduces under load. Twisted-pair speaker wire is included and its geometry rejects the alternator noise that runs alongside power cable in a tight install. A 100 amp Mini-ANL fuse and holder protect the main run, self-tapping grounding bolts handle the chassis connection, and zip ties and a butt connector finish the job. The kit also works for a single high-power amplifier when you want the distribution block available for a second amp later.
