KEY5001 500W Smart Mono Amplifier

The Kicker KEY5001 is a smart mono subwoofer amplifier with a built-in audio processor that analyzes and corrects bass response automatically. Using Kicker's supplied test tones, the amp's AI-driven DSP scans the incoming signal, fixes peaks, and restores low bass that is often missing from a factory system, delivering an even, controlled response in a matter of moments. It puts out 500 watts at 1 ohm, 300 watts at 2 ohms, or 150 watts at 4 ohms, with a 24dB sub-sonic and low-pass crossover along with bass boost and gain controls for shaping the sound further by hand. FIT 2+ technology gives it compatibility with nearly any stock or aftermarket radio, and it can accept factory input signals as high as 40 volts, a feature not common on amplifiers at this size. Measuring about 8 inches long and under 2 inches high, the KEY5001 fits behind a glove box, under a seat, or in a trunk, and works with Kicker subwoofers up to 12 inches for a wide range of enclosure options.
