Product Description

The KICKER KMFDB3 splits power to as many as three amplifiers and fuses each one individually. Every amplifier in the system gets its own MRBF marine fuse, so a fault at one component does not take out the rest of the audio system or leave an unprotected run of cable on a boat.

KICKER is the only 12-volt aftermarket brand offering a power distribution system that meets Coast Guard and ABYC standards, which makes the KMFDB3 safe for use in new boat construction, not just retrofits. That compliance is the difference between an install that passes inspection and one that gets flagged.

Setup is simple: run your main power cable to the block, add an MRBF fuse sized for each amplifier, and branch out. Fuse values are chosen per amplifier rather than one oversized fuse covering everything, which is how protection is supposed to work.

Combine it with the KMFMF fuse holder at the battery for a fully fused path from the terminal to the last amplifier in the rack.

Features

    • Fuse Every Amplifier

Each of the three outputs takes its own MRBF fuse, so a fault at one amplifier does not shut down the rest of the system or leave cable unprotected.

    • Marine Grade Compliance

Meeting Coast Guard and ABYC standards makes this block safe for new boat construction, not just an aftermarket retrofit that has to be explained later.

    • Right-Sized Protection

Choosing a fuse value per amplifier protects each run properly, instead of relying on one oversized fuse that lets small faults go unnoticed.

    • Clean Power Distribution

One main cable feeds the block and three branches leave it, which shortens cable runs and makes the whole power system easier to trace.

    • Complete The Circuit

Combined with the KMFMF holder at the battery terminal, you get a fully fused path from the battery to the last amplifier in the rack.
