Product Description

The KICKER KMWPR4100 is a 100-foot run of 4 AWG marine power wire in red, built for amplifier installs where the cable has to survive salt air as well as carry current.

KICKER starts with pure, full-spec OFC copper and tins it to prevent corrosion. Full-spec matters: a cable labeled 4 AWG that is actually thinner starves an amplifier and heats up under load. Tinning matters just as much on the water, because untinned copper wicks moisture at the terminations and loses conductivity strand by strand.

The jacket is soft and flexible, so the cable routes around bulkheads, through rigging tubes and into tight battery compartments without a fight. Red cable is typically used for positive runs from the battery.

It is compliant with Coast Guard and ABYC standards, so it is appropriate for new boat construction as well as retrofit work. Pair it with a KMFMF fuse holder at the battery and a KMFDB3 fused distribution block to keep the entire power path to one marine standard.

Features

    • Full-Spec Copper

KICKER uses pure, full-spec OFC copper, so a cable sold as 4 AWG actually measures 4 AWG and feeds your amplifier the current it was rated for.

    • Tinned Against Corrosion

The conductor is tinned to stop the moisture wicking that eats untinned copper at the terminations, which is where marine power runs usually fail first.

    • Bends Where You Need It

Soft, flexible jacketing lets the cable turn around bulkheads and drop into tight battery compartments without kinking or fighting the installer.

    • Meets Marine Standards

Compliance with Coast Guard and ABYC requirements makes this wire appropriate for new boat construction as well as aftermarket retrofit installs.

    • Part Of A Complete Path

Run it with a KMFMF battery fuse holder and a KMFDB3 fused distribution block and the whole power system stays at one marine standard.
