The KICKER KRC55 is a digital remote control for the KMC5 Media Center and the KMC100 OE radio. A 2.5-inch full-color LCD shows source, track, and settings at a glance, and the remote covers most KMC5 functions, so the receiver itself can stay mounted somewhere dry and out of sight.

An IP67 rating means the KRC55 takes dust and temporary immersion, which is what a helm or dash control needs on a boat, a side-by-side, or any open cab. The face measures 3 by 4 inches and protrudes 11/16 of an inch from the mounting surface, so it sits close to flush rather than standing off the panel.

Installation needs a 2-inch mount hole, and the removable snap-on trim ring finishes the edge. Leave the ring on for a framed look or pull it off for a cleaner face against the panel.

Two accessories change where you can put it. The KRCEXT25 25-foot extension cable, sold separately, moves the remote well away from the receiver. The KRCY1 Y-adapter splitter, also sold separately, supports multiple KRC55 remotes on one system, so the helm and the stern can both control the same music.
