The KICKER CompRT 10-inch subwoofer solves the problem a standard subwoofer creates in trucks and crew cabs: it mounts in under four inches of depth, tucking under a seat or behind a back bench. A dual 4-ohm voice coil simplifies wiring to a single amplifier, and the same red double-stitched Santoprene surround construction used across the CompR line, along with a UV-resistant cone, keeps this thin driver durable in and out of the vehicle. Custom SoloKon technology and the CompRT's shallow framework help it deliver deep bass despite its reduced depth, and Forced-Air Cooling helps the motor run about 20% cooler than earlier versions. Rated for 400W RMS with an 800W peak ceiling, it works across sealed volumes from 0.4 to 1.25 cubic feet or vented volumes from 1.25 to 1.75 cubic feet. A 9-1/8 inch mounting diameter matches standard 10-inch cutouts, so the shallow 3-7/16 inch mounting depth is the only real trade-off compared to a full-depth subwoofer. As a standalone driver, it is built for vehicles where a deep subwoofer box is not an option.
