48KMXL654 [Open Box]

The KMXL65 speakers use a proprietary horn-loaded compression design to stay clear and easy to listen to even at extremely high volumes, cutting through wind, water, and engine noise better than a standard cone tweeter. Each 6.5-inch woofer pairs with a 1.25-inch aluminum-dome tweeter and a lightweight neodymium magnet motor, wrapped in a UV-treated, waterproof poly/carbon-fiber cone built for constant sun and spray exposure. IP66 certification protects against dust and water jets, and the shallow mounting depth of 3-3/16 inches fits traditional speaker cutouts without modification. Rated for 15-150W RMS per speaker (300W peak) at 4 ohms with 92dB sensitivity, the pair plays loud without demanding a high-power amplifier. Integrated multi-color LED lighting adds a visual element for night cruising, and the speakers can be controlled with an optional KMLC LED remote when installed with KM-Series empty enclosures. Both white and charcoal grilles are included, so the speakers match the boat's existing color scheme without an extra purchase. This pair suits anyone upgrading factory marine speakers or building a fresh system around Kicker's Real Marine standard.
