Product Description

The KXMA400.2 is a two-channel Class D marine amplifier sized for boats, ATVs and UTVs that need real power without a large chassis. It delivers 200W per channel at 2 ohms, 100W per channel at 4 ohms, or 400W bridged into a single channel, with 500W of dynamic power.

That bridged rating is what makes it flexible. Run it as a stereo amp for a pair of cockpit or tower speakers, or bridge it to power a single marine subwoofer, and change your mind later without changing amplifiers.

Gain, crossover and bass boost controls sit behind a gasket-sealed cover panel, creating a water-resistant barrier around the settings. A DSP-controlled preamp and variable 24dB crossover cover high pass, low pass and band pass, with a 10x switch stretching the low-pass range to 5kHz. KickEQ adds up to 6dB centered at 40Hz, and the Gain Match LED shows when levels are set correctly.

A full-range RCA output passes signal to another amplifier without new cable from your KMC media center. The black anodized aluminum chassis measures 2-1/8" x 8-5/16" x 9-9/16", uses conformal-coated boards and ABYC/NMMA-compliant terminals, and includes stainless-steel mounting hardware.

Features

    • Stereo Or Subwoofer

Two hundred watts per channel at 2 ohms runs a pair of speakers, or bridge to 400W for a single marine subwoofer instead.

    • Weather-Resistant Controls

Gain, crossover and bass boost adjustments sit behind a gasket-sealed cover panel, keeping spray and rain away from the settings you dialed in.

    • Tune It Precisely

The DSP-controlled preamp and 24dB crossover cover high pass, low pass and band pass, with a 10x switch reaching 5kHz for horn systems.

    • Confident Gain Setting

FIT2 circuitry and the Gain Match LED indicator confirm input and output levels agree, so you set gain by sight instead of by ear.

    • Fits Small Installs

The 9-9/16" black anodized chassis mounts in the tight spaces found on side-by-sides, ATVs and small boats where full-size amplifiers will not go.
