The KXMA800.4 is one of the most flexible marine power pieces available, and the numbers explain why. It delivers 200W per channel at 2 ohms, 100W per channel at 4 ohms, or 400W per channel bridged into two channels, with 1100W of dynamic power. That covers four speakers driven hard, or two speaker pairs with a bridged subwoofer setup.

Gain, crossover and bass boost controls sit behind a gasket-sealed panel with a control cover, forming a water-resistant barrier around the settings. Amp 1 runs a 24dB/octave crossover variable from 10Hz to 5kHz with selectable high pass, low pass or all pass. Amp 2 adds band pass capability and KickEQ variable bass boost up to 6dB centered at 40Hz.

A DSP-controlled preamp, FIT2 circuitry and a Gain Match LED indicator handle setup, and a full-range RCA output feeds another amplifier without running new signal cable from a KMC media center.

Real Marine construction covers anti-corrosive speaker, power and RCA terminals, stainless-steel screws, conformal-coated boards and ABYC/NMMA-compliant power connections. The black anodized aluminum chassis measures 2-1/8" x 8-5/16" x 11-9/16" and carries a top-mounted teal LED light pipe.
