Product Description

The PXA1000.5 is a single-amp solution for a complete powersports system. Four full-range channels deliver 100W each at 2 or 4 ohms, and the subwoofer channel is stable down to 1 ohm at 600W, with 1400W of dynamic power available.

What sets it apart is the waterproof design. IP66 and IP67 certifications mean it handles dust, water jets and temporary immersion, so mounting it under a UTV seat, behind a roll cage panel or on an open frame rail is a reasonable plan rather than a gamble.

Class D efficiency keeps the footprint small at 4-1/2" wide, 1-15/16" tall and 12-7/8" long, which is how a five-channel amp fits in a machine with no trunk. Crossovers are set with switches rather than knobs: 24dB/octave high pass at 80 or 120Hz for amps 1 and 2, low pass at 60, 80, 100 or 120Hz for the sub, and a fixed 25Hz subsonic filter. Bass boost is selectable at 0 or +6dB centered at 40Hz on the sub channel, and the CXARC remote is supported for sub level.

Inline power and ground couplers are included, so no soldering or crimping is required. Dual turn-on modes cover DC offset and 12v trigger sources.
