The PXA300.1 is a completely re-engineered mono amplifier that supplies big power to a subwoofer in a compact, waterproof design built for the trickiest off-road installs. Rated IP66 and IP67, it seals out dust and water completely, making it a practical choice for open-air UTVs, RZRs, and other powersports vehicles that expose electronics to the elements. High-efficiency Class-D technology delivers up to 500W of dynamic power and is stable down to 1 ohm, putting out 300W at that impedance for a dedicated subwoofer channel. Selectable bass boost adds up to 6dB of extra low end centered at 40Hz, and a 24dB subsonic filter fixed at 25Hz along with adjustable low-pass crossover points let you shape exactly which frequencies reach the subwoofer. Dual turn-on modes, DC offset or a 12V trigger, mean it works whether or not the head unit provides a remote turn-on wire. Included inline power and ground couplers need no soldering or crimping, and stainless-steel mounting hardware resists corrosion. At just 4-1/2 inches wide and under 2 inches tall, the amplifier fits into the tight mounting spaces typical of UTVs and side-by-sides, giving a subwoofer dedicated power without taking up room a full-range amp would need.
