Product Description

The PXA400.4 delivers four channels of Class D power in a waterproof chassis sized for machines with no room to spare. It puts out 100W per channel at 2 or 4 ohms, or 200W per channel bridged into two channels, with 800W of dynamic power.

IP66 and IP67 certifications cover dust, direct water jets and temporary immersion. On a UTV that sees mud, creek crossings and pressure washing, that rating is the difference between an amplifier that lasts and one that gets replaced every season.

The chassis measures 4-1/2" wide, 1-3/4" tall and 9-3/4" long, so four channels fit under a seat, behind a dash panel or along a cage tube. Crossovers are switched at 24dB/octave: 80 or 120Hz high pass for full-range speakers, or 80Hz low pass. The CXARC remote is supported on amp 2 in low-pass mode.

Inline power and ground couplers come in the box, so extending cable takes no soldering or crimping. Dual turn-on modes accept DC offset or a 12v trigger, which covers factory head units and aftermarket source units alike.

It suits UTVs, off-road trucks, hot rods and any build where a full-size amplifier will not fit.
