The TRTP 10-inch Down-Firing Loaded Enclosure solves a specific problem: getting real bass in a truck without giving up the space above it. At only 5-5/8" tall, the box fires downward and takes cargo on its flat top surface, so it fits under a rear seat or sits in a trunk with gear stacked on it.

Inside are an active 10" CompRT subwoofer and a passive reFLEX subwoofer, pre-wired to a single 2-ohm terminal. The passive radiator extends low-frequency output without the cabinet volume a port would need, which is how a box this thin still produces deep bass.

The CompRT woofer bonds a polypropylene cone to an improved Santoprene surround with the series' red double stitching. SoloKon technology joins the cone to a vented back brace, forming one rigid unit that cuts distortion and pulls heat off the motor. Forced-Air Cooling helps the sub run about 20 percent cooler than the previous generation.

Rated at 400W RMS with 800W peak and 96.5dB sensitivity, it produces high output from a compact amplifier. Extensive internal bracing and thick MDF construction handle the punishment of stacked cargo, and the 25-5/8" x 13-1/4" footprint fits most truck and trunk floors.
