48VCWR122 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure

The Kicker 48VCWR122 CompR enclosure loads a 12-inch CompR subwoofer into a vented box wired to a single 2-ohm terminal, giving loud, tuned bass without requiring a custom enclosure build. Thick MDF construction, extensive internal bracing, and custom embroidery back up the blacked-out cone, and a front-facing tuned port raises acoustic efficiency, producing strong bass output with less amplifier power than a sealed box would need.

The CompR's signature red double stitching bonds an improved Santoprene surround to a polypropylene woofer cone, and SoloKon technology joins the cone to a vented back brace, cooling the motor and cutting distortion in one design. Forced-Air Cooling runs the subwoofer about 25 percent cooler than earlier CompR generations, and thick black carpeting gives the box a clean, finished look in a trunk or cargo area.
