The ST3TRK is the factory replacement diaphragm assembly for a single ST3TW 1-inch bullet tweeter. High-output tweeters live a hard life in SPL and pro-audio-style car systems, and the diaphragm is usually the first part to give out. Instead of replacing the whole tweeter, this kit returns the original unit to service with the same 1-inch aluminum diaphragm it left the factory with, so output and voicing stay matched to the other tweeters in the system. Installation is field-replaceable and requires no glue, no curing time and no special tools, which means a failed tweeter can be back in the system the same day rather than waiting on a full replacement. Keeping a kit on the shelf is common practice for competition builders and installers who run banks of bullet tweeters and cannot afford downtime between events.
