If you already own the amplifier, this is often the coil configuration that matches it.

The driver itself is reengineered for higher power handling, increased excursion, and deeper bass, with an SQL design that targets both sound quality and SPL output rather than trading one for the other. Recommended amplifier power is 800 W RMS.

Forced-Air Cooling moves air across the motor structure during playback, which keeps the coil temperature in a range where output stays consistent instead of fading as the night goes on.

Enclosure planning is straightforward. Sealed boxes from 0.66 to 1.25 cu ft give tighter, more controlled response in a compact footprint. Vented boxes from 1.25 to 2.25 cu ft trade cabinet size for more output. Mounting depth is 6-3/8 inches with a 9-3/16 inch cutout, so confirm clearance before committing to a shallow location behind a seat or under a trunk floor.
