The Hideaway HS10 is a complete bass system in one aluminum box: a 10-inch subwoofer, a 180 W RMS amplifier, and the controls to blend it into a factory stereo. At 3-1/8 inches tall, 14 inches deep, and 9-7/8 inches wide, it fits under a seat where a conventional enclosure will not.

FIT+ (Fail-safe Integration Technology PLUS) is the part that makes factory integration realistic. It accepts input signals from 0.25 volt up to 40 volts, so it works off a factory head unit, an aftermarket deck, or the speaker-level output of an amplified factory system, and it is compatible with newer vehicles running start/stop systems. No line output converter needed.

The included remote lets you change bass level without touching radio volume, which matters when you move between a podcast and a bass-heavy playlist. Tuning covers an adjustable low-pass crossover (12 dB/octave, 50-120 Hz), a 24 dB/octave high-pass at 25 Hz, variable KickEQ boost to +6 dB at 40 Hz, and a 0/180-degree phase switch to time the sub with your front speakers.

Installation uses a quick-connect Molex plug and harness carrying power, signal, and remote turn-on, with high- and low-level inputs and two automatic turn-on options: DC-offset or signal sensing. The harness includes 17 feet of power input, 8 feet of speaker-level input, and 2-foot ground and remote turn-on leads. Total weight is 11.4 lb.
